Biography:
Louis Moilliet was a painter and stained glass designer from Switzerland. He was responsible for bringing his lifelong friend, Paul Klee into the Blaue Reiter group in 1911. After World War I, Moilliet began traveling, mostly in the Mediterranean region. He mostly painted in watercolors in a style that was reminiscent of Orphism.
